Paid Telegram channels

Charge for your Telegram channel with Stripe. Metricgram lets paying subscribers in with a personal link, removes them when the subscription ends and shows how your audience grows.

Stripe subscriptions, paid out to you

Connect your own Stripe account and sell recurring subscriptions, such as monthly or yearly plans, through Stripe payment links. Payments go straight to your account, and every subscriber is matched to their Telegram user.
01

A personal invite link for each subscriber

After paying, subscribers open the Metricgram bot and receive a link that only lets them in. Join requests from that link are approved for them, and the link stops working once it is used.
02

Access ends when the subscription does

When a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, the subscriber is removed from the channel after the grace period you choose, and gets a private message explaining how to come back.
03

Subscriber growth you can trust

See how many people joined and left in each period, the net change and which invite links bring them in. The subscriber count comes straight from Telegram.
04

Scheduled posts and polls

Plan posts, polls and pinned announcements for your channel from Metricgram, in your own time zone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I connect a channel?
In Metricgram, choose Connect a channel and add the bot to your channel as an administrator. The channel appears in your dashboard as soon as Telegram confirms it.
Should my paid channel be public or private?
Private. Stripe subscriptions, personal invite links, removing expired subscribers, scheduled posts and subscriber growth work in public and private channels. But anyone can read a public channel through its username, so a personal invite link does not make its posts exclusive. For paid content, use a private channel and let people in only through the links Metricgram sends to paying subscribers.
Which administrator rights does the bot need?
The bot needs to post and edit messages for scheduled posts, invite users via link to let subscribers in, and ban users to remove expired subscribers.
What happens to people who were in the channel before I connected it?
They stay in the channel. Subscribers who link their Telegram user to their subscription are tracked from then on, and the subscriber count always includes everyone.
Does a channel count towards my plan's group limit?
Yes. Each connected channel uses one of the groups included in your plan, the same as a group.
Can I use automatic replies or gamification in a channel?
No. Those features answer member messages, which channels do not have. Connect your channel's discussion group as a separate group to use them there.
