Data processing and retention
Metricgram processes only the data needed to run Telegram community management workflows, keep accounts secure, bill subscriptions, support customers, and provide the features owners enable.
Purpose-limited use
Data is used to provide, secure, support, measure, and improve Metricgram, not to sell personal data.
Feature-based processing
Telegram, Stripe, email, analytics, extraction, and AI data are processed according to the features enabled by each workspace.
Retention with a reason
Records are kept only while needed for the service, security, accounting, legal compliance, disputes, or operational history.
Main data categories
Metricgram may process account details, email addresses, authentication events, Telegram identifiers, group metadata, messages needed for enabled features, subscriber records, billing references, support messages, referral information, and technical logs.
Optional features may add scheduled messages, welcome templates, trigger rules, AI chatbot configuration, extraction credentials, directory listing content, or Stripe Connect product data.
Processing purposes
Data is used to authenticate users, connect Telegram groups, run automations, display analytics, process payments, manage paid access, prevent abuse, answer support requests, and maintain the platform.
Optional AI features may send relevant prompts, ticket context, or community context to the configured AI provider only when the feature is enabled or requested.
Retention and deletion
Account and workspace data can be deleted or exported through a request to Metricgram. Some billing, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may need to remain for a limited period.
Operational logs and analytics are retained for reliability, security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service improvement, then reduced or removed when no longer needed.
Security of stored data
Sensitive Telegram extraction credentials are encrypted with Rails encrypted attributes. Secrets and sensitive parameters are filtered from logs, and production traffic uses HTTPS.
