Understanding Dashboard Metrics
The Metricgram dashboard shows activity for the group currently selected in your account. Metrics are calculated from the messages, reactions, and member events Metricgram can record after the bot is connected.
Date Range and Grouping
You can choose a date range and group charts by day, week, or month. The amount of available history depends on your plan. Times use the time zone configured in Settings.
Main Cards
- Total messages sent -- messages captured during the selected period.
- Total users who wrote -- members who sent at least one message in that period.
- Average messages per user -- messages divided by active users.
- Total reactions -- reactions recorded on group messages.
- New members -- joins detected during the period.
- Members who left -- leaves or removals recorded during the period.
Available Charts
Depending on available data, the dashboard can show:
- Active users by messages, reactions, and total.
- Activity by day, week, or month, separating user/admin messages and reactions.
- Activity by hour and by weekday.
- Member growth, with joins and leaves.
- Engagement ratio, calculated as reactions per message.
- New vs. returning users, based on when each user first wrote.
- Most active topics for Telegram forum groups.
- Most active users and most used reactions.
- Gamification rankings and streaks when gamification is configured.
- Subscriber health when the group is monetized and linked subscribers exist.
Reports from the Dashboard
If your plan includes daily reports, you will see a shortcut to Reports in the dashboard quick cards.
Note: If you just connected the group, some metrics may take time to appear. Metricgram can only analyze activity received after the bot has permissions in the group.
