Understanding Dashboard Metrics
The Metricgram dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your Telegram group's health and activity. Here is what each metric means.
Key Metrics
- Total Members -- current number of members in the group
- New Members -- members who joined during the selected period
- Left Members -- members who left or were removed during the period
- Net Growth -- new members minus departures (positive = growing)
- Messages -- total messages sent in the group
- Active Members -- members who sent at least one message
Activity Charts
- Message Volume -- shows daily message count over time. Spikes may indicate trending discussions or events.
- Member Growth -- tracks cumulative member count with join/leave breakdowns.
- Engagement Rate -- percentage of members who actively participate (active members / total members).
Top Members
The leaderboard shows the most active members ranked by:
- Message count -- total messages sent
- Points -- gamification score (if enabled)
- Streak -- consecutive days of activity
Time Periods
Use the date range selector to view metrics for:
- Last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or custom ranges
- Compare periods side by side to identify trends
Tips
- An engagement rate above 10% is considered healthy for most communities.
- Watch for sudden drops in activity, which may signal issues worth investigating.
- Use the daily summaries feature to receive these metrics automatically.
