Setting Up Gamification

Gamification turns your Telegram group into an engaging experience where members earn points, unlock rewards, and compete on rankings.

Enabling Gamification

1. Go to Tools > Gamification.
2. Use quick setup if you want to start from default values.
3. Review the actions tab to decide what awards points.
4. Create rewards if you want members to unlock prizes with points.
5. Configure automatic rankings if you want Metricgram to publish them in Telegram.

What Gets Tracked

Metricgram awards points for the activities you enable:

• Messages -- points for messages sent.
• Reactions -- points for reactions recorded on a user's messages.
• Streaks -- bonuses for consecutive activity.
• Daily activity -- points for configured first, second, and third daily actions.
• Extra points -- manual points granted from the ranking screen.

Initial Setup Tips

• Start simple -- enable messages and reactions first, then add streaks or daily activity.
• Announce it -- let your group know how points are earned.
• Set daily caps for messages and reactions to discourage spam.
• Create a few rewards before promoting the system.

Plan Availability

Gamification requires the Basic plan or higher. It is not available on the Free plan.

Important Notes

• Points are calculated from the moment gamification is enabled. Past activity is not retroactively scored.
• Gamification settings can be changed at any time. Existing points are preserved when you adjust the rules.
