Configuring Group Settings

Group settings let you adjust the Telegram group currently selected in Metricgram.

Accessing Settings

Select the group you want to edit and open Group settings from the dashboard.

Group details

You can update the group title and description. When saved, Metricgram attempts to apply those changes to the Telegram group as well.

Custom Telegram bot

The Admin bot token field lets this group send Metricgram messages through your own Telegram bot instead of the standard Metricgram bot. Create the bot with @BotFather, add it to the same Telegram group as an administrator, and paste the token here.

If the field is cleared after a custom bot has been configured, Metricgram removes the custom token and the group goes back to the standard bot.

Group permissions

The permissions section controls the default chat permissions Metricgram applies in Telegram, such as whether members can send messages, polls, media, links, invite users, pin messages, or manage topics.

Group removal

Delete group removes the group from Metricgram and permanently deletes the associated data stored for that group. Metricgram also tries to make the standard bot leave the Telegram group. This action cannot be undone.

What is not configured here

Automations such as welcome messages, scheduled messages, summaries, triggers, AI chatbots, subscribers, and invite links have their own sections in the dashboard.
