Creating Automatic Replies
Automatic replies let the bot automatically respond when specific keywords or phrases are detected in your group chat.
Setting Up an Automatic Reply
- Open Messaging > Automatic Replies in the dashboard.
- Click "Create Reply".
- Define the keyword or phrase that activates the response.
- Write the response message that the bot should send.
- Choose where the reply is sent: same topic, general channel, a specific topic, or privately to the admin.
- Enable useful options, such as replying to the triggering message or ignoring admin messages.
- Save the reply.
Advanced Options
- Nested reply -- the bot replies directly to the triggering message instead of sending a standalone message
- Ignore admins -- admin messages do not trigger this automatic reply
- Send to admin -- the response is sent privately to the group admin
Use Cases
- FAQ automation -- keyword: "pricing" -> response with pricing details
- Rule reminders -- keyword: certain prohibited words -> response with a rules reminder
- Resource sharing -- keyword: "guide" -> response with a link to your guide
Plan Limits
The number of auto-reply triggers you can create per group depends on your plan:

Tips
- Start with 5-10 automatic replies for the most frequently asked questions in your group.
