First Steps After Connecting Your Group

After connecting your group, you do not need to configure everything on day one. If you want the most useful starting point, focus on these steps.

1. Check your dashboard

Your group should already appear and start showing activity. Use the dashboard to confirm that the connection worked correctly.

2. Set up a welcome message

If you want new members to receive context from the start, configure a welcome message in Messaging > Welcome messages. It is one of the highest-impact settings you can enable early on.

3. Create your first automatic reply

Go to Messaging > Automatic replies and create a reply for a common question or keyword. It is a quick way to start automating useful tasks.

4. Leave the rest for later

Features like summaries, gamification, monetization, or AI chatbots are optional. You can enable them later as your group needs them.

Note: If you have just connected the group, some metrics may take a little time to start filling in.
