Scheduling Messages
Schedule messages to be posted in your Telegram group at specific times, either once or on a recurring basis.
Creating a Scheduled Message
- Go to Automations > Scheduled Messages in your group.
- Click "Create Scheduled Message".
- Write your message content using markdown formatting.
- Set the date and time for delivery.
- Choose the frequency:
- Once -- sends at the specified time and date
- Daily -- repeats every day at the specified time
- Weekly -- repeats on selected days of the week
- Monthly -- repeats on a specific day of the month
- Click "Save" to schedule.
Managing Scheduled Messages
From the scheduled messages list, you can:
- Edit -- modify the content or timing
- Pause -- temporarily stop a recurring message without deleting it
- Delete -- permanently remove the scheduled message
- View history -- see when messages were sent and their delivery status
Use Cases
- Daily engagement prompts -- "What's everyone working on today?"
- Weekly digests -- summarize the week's highlights every Friday
- Event reminders -- count down to important dates
- Content sharing -- post educational content on a regular schedule
Important Notes
- Messages are sent based on the time zone configured in your group settings. Make sure it is set correctly.
- If the bot is removed from the group, scheduled messages will fail. Check your delivery history for any failed sends.
