Here are the most frequently encountered issues and how to resolve them.

Group Not Appearing in Dashboard

Problem: You added the bot to your group but it does not show up in Metricgram.

Solutions:

  1. Make sure the bot is added as an administrator (not just a member).
  2. Send a message in the group after adding the bot.
  3. Refresh the Metricgram dashboard.
  4. Check that the bot's privacy mode is disabled (see Bot Setup article).

Members Not Being Tracked

Problem: New members join but do not appear in the member list.

Solutions:

  1. Verify the bot has admin permissions in the group.
  2. Check that privacy mode is off.
  3. Wait a few minutes -- there can be a short sync delay.

Welcome Messages Not Sending

Problem: New members join but do not receive a welcome message.

Solutions:

  1. Confirm the welcome message is enabled (not just saved).
  2. Check that the bot has permission to send messages.
  3. Verify the member is genuinely new (welcome messages only send once per member).

Scheduled Messages Not Delivered

Problem: A scheduled message did not post at the expected time.

Solutions:

  1. Check your group time zone setting.
  2. Verify the bot is still an admin in the group.
  3. Check the message's delivery history for error details.

Stripe Payments Not Working

Problem: Subscribers cannot complete payment.

Solutions:

  1. Ensure your Stripe account is fully verified and active.
  2. Check that the subscription plan is published and the link is correct.
  3. Review Stripe's dashboard for any declined payment details.
